Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend applications and web services to ensure system performance and responsiveness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications, RESTful, and SOAP web services.
• Analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot issues and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to establish objectives and design cohesive code.
• Participate in all SDLC stages within an Agile environment, from analysis to implementation.
• Develop solutions that comply with coding standards enforced through static analyzers like SonarQube.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java programming experience.
• Expertise in Core Java development and modern Java APIs.
• Experience building web applications using J2EE and Spring frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with RESTful, SOAP, XML, and JSON web services.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS databases, JDBC, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Understanding of distributed architecture, including Tomcat and messaging.
• Experience with JavaScript and the AngularJS framework.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application development on AWS Cloud.
• Basic Unix and Shell scripting.
• Understanding of Energy & Utilities solutions.
