Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-performance RESTful services using FastAPI with robust request/response validation and authentication/authorization.
• Build scalable backend services using Python concurrency patterns (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing) and ensure resiliency and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and persistence pipelines for structured and semi-structured large datasets.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native components on Microsoft Azure (App Service/Functions, SQL/MySQL, Storage, Batch) to support backend workloads.
• Optimize MySQL schemas and queries (indexes, partitioning, replication) and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using profiling and monitoring.

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python software development
• Python backend development
• FastAPI for building RESTful services
• High-throughput backend performance optimization using async and concurrency techniques
• API engineering with validation, authentication/authorization, and reliable service behavior

Good to Have:

• Azure cloud services experience
• AWS exposure

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
