This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance RESTful services using FastAPI, ensuring robust request/response validation and authentication.
• Build scalable backend services leveraging Python concurrency patterns (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing) for resiliency.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and persistence pipelines for structured and semi-structured datasets.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native components on Microsoft Azure, including App Service, Functions, and Storage.
• Optimize MySQL schemas and queries through indexing, partitioning, and replication to eliminate performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python software development.
• Deep expertise in FastAPI for building RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of Python concurrency and high-throughput performance optimization.
• Experience with API engineering, including validation, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
