Description

You will build and maintain large-scale backend applications and high-volume web services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale applications and high-volume web services.
• Lead and manage a team while writing high-quality, bug-free code.
• Implement standard practices including unit tests, integration tests, and technical debt reduction.
• Manage release processes using Amazon Web Services (ECS) and application development via Lambda and S3.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java (Java 8 or higher) and the Spring Framework.
• 3+ years of experience working with the AWS cloud platform.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Redis or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in API modeling languages and annotations.
• Experience building and using ETL systems and integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including memory leaks and GC tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kafka.
• Familiarity with front-end platforms including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React, Angular, or Vue.
