Description

You will design, build, and maintain big data solutions on cloud platforms. You own the full lifecycle of data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Build and support scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Ensure high availability of the data platform and proactively prevent issues.
• Improve data quality, security, and lifecycle management.
• Implement data tools for formatting, anonymization, and secure purging.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Strong programming skills in Scala and/or Java.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Strong background in ETL and data warehousing.
• Solid SQL and database fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud platform exposure (any major cloud).
• Experience with scalable and resilient data pipelines.
• Exposure to data governance and security practices.
