Description

You will design Android system customizations and manage the AOSP build environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design high-level Android customization solutions and determine efficient implementation approaches.
• Set up and own the AOSP build environment and all associated customization activities.
• Manage software builds and configuration management for the Android Open Source Project.
• Ensure all software development processes comply with IEC 62304 standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AOSP development and Android System image customization.
• Hands-on experience with BSP development on Android and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Shell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Device Tree and firmware development for NXP IMX processors.
• Experience with the Yocto Project build environment and Make tools.
• Deep understanding of connectivity protocols including WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB, and UART.
• Experience with customized board bring-up, PIN configurations, and SELinux rules.
• Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu, Git, Repo, and SVN.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS).
