Description

You will build and maintain Java-based applications within the data domain, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Hadoop and related ecosystems.
• Implement data ETL processes to support batch and streaming analytics requirements.
• Optimize and troubleshoot distributed systems for data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Maintain system documentation and contribute to architecture reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Experience with Apache Flink for streaming and batch pipeline optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Native technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with messaging and storage systems such as Kafka, Redis, Memcached, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data utilities.
• Experience with Ops and CI/CD tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of core engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and testing frameworks like JUnit and pytest.
• Proficiency in Git and writing clean, maintainable code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components beyond basic pipeline construction.
