Build scalable backend solutions powering business applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teammates to develop scalable software solutions.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to implement business workflows.
• Work with data scientists to maintain and improve data pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices for quality and speed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong SQL skills, including familiarity with Postgres DBMS.
• Working experience with various Python frameworks.
• Experience with AWS web services.
• Container-based development and deployment using Docker.
• Understanding of ETL pipelines and big data frameworks (Spark, Hive, Kafka, or Splunk).
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with any of Splunk, Spark, Hive, or Kafka.
