Description

You will design, develop, and maintain a large distributed Java-based system, owning the full lifecycle from problem resolution to integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex features for a large Java codebase.
• Build and implement automation tools to improve system efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth debugging, benchmark testing, and root cause analysis.
• Interface with support groups to resolve technical issues and set standards.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for software integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance; Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
• Knowledge of software practices, coding standards, and root cause analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java Spring and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile environments using Git, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Gradle, or Eclipse.
