Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for elevator control systems, working across both legacy platforms and new product lines.

Responsibilities

• Implement software features and change requests using high-level C/C++ and VB.NET/C# for UI simulators.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including concept, design, validation, and production.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests in lab environments using hardware simulators and emulators.
• Troubleshoot field issues, perform regression testing, and deliver effective software solutions.
• Manage configuration control, change management processes, and document requirements and test results.

Required Skills

• BS/BA in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 5+ years.
• Strong experience in embedded C/C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux or RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, ThreadX, Green Hills).
• Proficiency in VB.NET or C# for UI/UX simulator tool development.
• Experience with inter-process communication and multi-threaded applications.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, RS232, RS422, RS485, SPI, I2C.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Subversion, Atlassian tools) and debugging tools (Oscilloscopes, JTAG/BDM, CANalyzer).
