Description

You will build and maintain backend systems for customer-facing web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient data storage, messaging, and API systems.
• Own system components across both development and operational requirements.
• Debug production issues within services and the technology stack.
• Measure and optimize backend service performance, effectiveness, and uptime.
• Perform code reviews and participate in design reviews to maintain engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with the Java 8 and Spring Boot stack.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud architecture and service development.
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
• Practical knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including source control, build processes, and testing.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to learn domain knowledge within the e-commerce sector.
