Description

You will develop and maintain software solutions by translating business requirements into technical designs, code, and tests.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business requirements and map them to technical designs, coding standards, and unit testing protocols.
• Document code and processes to ensure system maintainability and effective knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with IT and business groups to resolve technical issues and share domain information.
• Follow the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for all code releases and deployments.
• Assist System Architects in evaluating and selecting new product technologies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, .NET, or scripting languages such as Perl.
• Solid domain knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Investment Compliance.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to build cross-organizational relationships and work across boundaries.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; team-oriented and deadline-driven.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with investment compliance systems or financial services platforms.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
