Description

Modernize a credit risk platform by developing reporting workflows and transitioning data to a modern architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI reports using Dremio, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Migrate existing workflows from SQL Server to Apache Iceberg and Parquet.
• Establish and document Dremio usage and configuration best practices in Confluence.
• Advise business stakeholders on effective reporting strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or BI development.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience in BI visualization and reporting using Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, 3 days per week (Wednesdays required).

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Dremio.
• Experience with Apache Iceberg, Apache Parquet, and Spark.
• Prior leadership experience on BI projects.
