You will design, develop, and maintain AHV features while contributing to open source communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AHV features to improve reliability, performance, and security.
• Lead feature development from initial concept through to market release.
• Mentor other software engineers.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, and support teams.

Required Skills

• Strong coding skills in C and Python for enterprise-quality software.
• Extensive knowledge of UNIX and Linux environments.
• Understanding of OS internals and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization, storage, or network management.
• 2+ years of industry experience or equivalent research experience.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rust, GoLang, KVM, or QEMU.
• Experience interacting with open source communities.
