Description

You will lead the hands-on migration of existing Ruby services to Go and TypeScript/Node.js.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of Ruby services to Go and TypeScript/Node.js.
• Design migration strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system architecture.
• Develop maintainable, efficient code and integrate services with existing APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize migrated services for scalability and security.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL.
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to document service architectures and migration processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby.
