Description

You will design, code, and test embedded systems software to meet technical and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and code real-time embedded software based on low-level requirements.
• Build, test, and deliver software to target environments to meet program commitments.
• Assist with system-level testing and coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Document problem reports and track resolution activities.
• Participate in design and code reviews to identify and eliminate defects early in the development process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, coding, and testing embedded systems software.
• Ability to work with real-time embedded software in target environments.
• Experience with EICAS, MCDU, FMS, and ACMS.
• Knowledge of ARINC 429, ARINC 618, VDL Mode 2, TCP/IP, and ATN OSI.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of network protocols and Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience with air/ground messaging, data link protocols, and aircrew human machine interface design.
