Description

You will lead the migration, installation, and configuration of SAS 9.4m8 on AWS production servers, ensuring full compliance and minimal downtime.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct migration planning and define the technical approach for SAS 9.4m8 deployment.
• Download, install, and configure SAS 9.4m8 with HTTPS on AWS, applying necessary hot fixes.
• Configure SAS/Access to PC File formats and SAS Metadata Libraries.
• Migrate metadata, users, datasets, Enterprise Guide projects, and source files to the new environment.
• Support UAT troubleshooting, resolve issues, and complete SCSEM Cloud 7.0 and RHEL 7.0 compliance checklists.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with SAS 9.4 / SAS 9.4m8 installation and configuration.
• Proven experience in SAS migration, including metadata, users, and datasets.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and server migration strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Proficiency with SAS Metadata Libraries and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Ability to create Pre-Installation Requirements Documents (PIRD) and deliver knowledge transfer.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with government or regulated-industry SAS environments.
• Familiarity with SCSEM cloud compliance checklists.
