Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify and fix SonarQube issues to maintain code quality.
• Remediate Fortify security findings to ensure secure application development.
• Develop and execute JUnit tests for unit and integration testing.
• Refactor existing code to enhance performance and maintainability.
• Analyze and resolve defects reported during development and testing phases.
• Assist in building and integrating AI agents for software development tasks across the SDLC.
• Support the creation of prompt templates, custom instructions, and chat mode files for GitHub Copilot.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement AI-driven solutions for coding, testing, and documentation.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Java backend development and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and building scalable backend services.
• Hands-on expertise in writing and executing unit and integration tests using JUnit.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve code quality issues using SonarQube.
• Knowledge of application security practices, including remediation of Fortify findings.
• Experience in REST API development and backend integration techniques.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to resolve defects across development stages.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and supporting automation across the SDLC.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional development teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
