Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement advanced control algorithms and embedded software solutions.

Develop and validate control systems using Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation environments.

Conduct system modeling, analysis, testing, and machine-level validation activities.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies, processes, and control methodologies.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software and control system performance.

Collaborate with engineering teams through design reviews, model development, testing, and product releases.

Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in controls engineering, software development, or related disciplines.

Strong experience with:

MATLAB/Simulink

Stateflow

Simscape Power Systems

Co-simulation environments

Solid understanding of:

Linear Control Theory

PID Control Design

Dynamic System Modeling

Experience with advanced control methodologies such as:

Adaptive Control

Sliding Mode Control

Neural Network-Based Control

Fuzzy Logic Control

Experience developing embedded software on real-time operating systems (RTOS) and/or Linux-based platforms.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages including C, C++, Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Experience with software debugging and diagnostic tools.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience with generator controls and power generation systems.

Knowledge of hybrid energy systems and renewable energy integration.

Experience with engine controls and advanced powertrain technologies.

Familiarity with software development and service tools used in industrial applications.
