Description

Develop safety- and security-critical embedded software for Programmable Logic Controllers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write embedded software for commercial off-the-shelf and custom System on Chip architectures.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering tools and CI/CD practices across the global organization.
• Participate in Agile teams, monitoring and improving team health, predictability, and velocity.
• Develop and maintain drivers and firmware for real-time embedded environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C and Python programming.
• Proven background in embedded driver or firmware development.
• Experience with QNX and Linux embedded environments.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new codebases and hardware/software environments.
• Experience working in Agile frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing software to meet safety and security standards (IEC 61508, IEC 62443).
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (CIP) and communication technologies (Ethernet, USB, PCIe).
• Familiarity with embedded Hypervisors and bare-metal development.
