Description

Lead technical initiatives integrating hardware with software for high-precision metrology instruments, owning the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable C# code for high-performance applications.
• Develop software drivers for hardware components including cameras, motors, optics, lasers, and control boards.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs to devise and implement technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new front-end and back-end features.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.

Required Skills

• Proficient in C# programming with hands-on experience in .NET 6.
• Strong experience with WPF applications.
• Strong experience with MVVM architectural patterns.
• Experience with hardware driver development and integration.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and architectural patterns.
• Experience implementing unit tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 7 years.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with camera hardware, APIs, optical/laser hardware, or motor control interfaces.
• Background in the instrumentation or metrology industry.
