Description

You will develop and maintain Java-based software solutions, designing enterprise APIs and implementing RESTful web services within a microservices architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based software capabilities using modern frameworks.
• Design enterprise APIs and implement RESTful web services.
• Implement solutions using Microservices architecture principles.
• Apply Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms to code.
• Work within the agile software lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering using Modern Java Frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava).
• Proven experience with designing and implementing enterprise APIs.
• Experience working with Microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Working knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Git, Nexus, or Maven.
• A current U.S. Secret Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (Security+).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, AWS, or Azure Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
