Description

Lead software design and development teams to deliver large-scale systems. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of multiple applications, including technical design, coding, and code review.
• Identify requirements gaps, solve problems for supporting staff, and sequence integrated services and technologies.
• Support the Project Manager as the technical lead, estimating technical costs and conferring with clients to define system design.
• Plan and lead transformation initiatives to new software architectures and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure code quality, deployment standards, and compliance with dev/sec/ops practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software design and development, software test and evaluation, and software requirements management.
• Expert knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of database technologies including SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and strong experience with Deployment and Continuous Integration.
• Advanced knowledge of test-first practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and C.
• Demonstrated experience with front-end and back-end programming and integration frameworks.
• Ability to decompose functional and technical requirements into project activities and tasks.
