Description

Design, develop, and maintain secure software applications for medical devices using C++, Python, and the Qt framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and uphold secure coding practices to protect medical devices against cybersecurity threats.
• Utilize OpenSSL for cryptographic operations, including encryption, key management, and certificate handling.
• Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document security controls and system configurations.
• Debug complex issues and apply problem-solving skills suitable for all organizational levels.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing software in C++ and Python.
• Proficiency with the Qt application development framework.
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and secure programming practices.
• Ability to apply cybersecurity principles such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability to software design.
• Strong debugging and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical device development.
• 5+ years of total working experience.
