Description

You will manage physical and virtual server environments, network infrastructure, and system security for various applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, test, upgrade, and patch physical and virtual servers.
• Build and manage large-scale Windows, Linux, and Unix systems within VMware environments.
• Configure network servers and secure systems against vulnerabilities.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripts and various applications.
• Troubleshoot network issues involving TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, and routing.

Required Skills

• Experience with Linux, Unix, and VMware (vSphere, vCenter).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Firewalls, DNS, IP addressing, and sub-netting.
• Ability to perform network configuration and routing.
• 5+ years of experience in the role or as an IT Consultant, Analyst, Programmer, or Developer.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a closely related field.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.
