Description

You will architect, develop, and supervise OS software for next-generation smart TV platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDMI, EDID, and CEC features for smart TV hardware.
• Build abstraction layers over low-level SoC details.
• Maintain and improve the existing Linux-based OS through bug fixes.
• Solve complex system-level issues using prototyping and unit testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and architects to deliver features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, and software development for embedded devices.
• High proficiency in modern C and C++ (C++11, C++14, or C++17).
• Extensive experience with POSIX-based embedded systems, including Android, Linux, or QNX.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
• Solid knowledge of inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).
• Experience with client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe communication paradigms.
• Expertise in IP-based protocols such as HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, HTML5, Make, and Linux OS.
