Description

You will own the design, development, and performance tuning of backend applications, while supporting full-stack delivery and production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build components using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka to create distributed, event-driven systems.
• Tune application performance and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability.
• Partner with Business System Analysts and Infrastructure teams to align designs with functional requirements and optimal hosting environments.
• Construct unit tests, support functional testing, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Maintain front-end interfaces using Angular and assist development teams with troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Ability to build cloud-native or distributed applications.
• Front-end development skills with Angular.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience aligning risk and control processes into daily development workflows.
• Ability to work across the full stack, contributing primarily to backend components while supporting UI work.
