Design and implement scalable distributed systems using Java and cloud technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Refactor and redesign existing applications to improve system structure.
• Optimize system performance through multithreading, networking, and caching tuning.
• Write testable code with high coverage using Mockito and JUnit.
• Maintain a disciplined approach to code reviews, documentation, and testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure and GCP cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design.
• Experience managing databases, caching layers, and message brokers like Kafka.
• Knowledge of multithreading, networking, and offline storage.
• Ability to build products with a focus on testability and high test coverage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building big data pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale application refactoring and redesigning.
