You will build and maintain data-driven software solutions in San Francisco.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Develop readable software following industry best practices.
• Manage and interact with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work within the Hadoop ecosystem to process large datasets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong command of SQL and at least one relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (MapReduce, Yarn, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Presto, Pig, HBase, or Parquet).
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
