Description

You will build and maintain the data migration engine and its associated services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write well-tested backend code for the data migration engine and surrounding services.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure high-quality output.
• Provide and solicit feedback on technical design documents and pull requests.
• Manage CI/CD, quality assurance, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with product management, designers, and other engineers.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of commercial software development experience using a JVM language (Java preferred).
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem.
• Knowledge of relational data modeling and at least one SQL database (Postgres, MySQL).
• Familiarity with streaming systems like Apache Kafka or AWS SQS.
• Basic familiarity with client-side technologies such as React.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and time/space complexity.
• Any Graduate degree.
