Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend APIs and ETL processes to ensure organizational data accessibility.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend APIs for data processing and ETL workflows.
• Implement scalable data pipelines using Python, Java, and SQL.
• Deploy and maintain data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Optimize existing data systems for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure data integrity and security.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience focused on data and backend development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
