Description

You will own database development and engineering tasks using SQL-based systems.

You will develop and maintain databases using SQL Server, MariaDB, or Postgres. You will write and optimize stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL queries. You will generate SQL reports to support data requirements. You will utilize Hadoop technologies including Impala and Hive for data processing. You will collaborate with team members to implement new data tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain databases using SQL Server, MariaDB, or Postgres.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience as a database developer or database engineer.
• Strong expertise in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MariaDB, and Postgres.
• Proficiency in writing stored procedures and functions.
• Experience working with Hadoop technologies such as Impala and Hive.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with BI tools including Power BI.
• Experience with MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS).
