Description

Design and implement scalable microservices for the next-gen eCommerce ecosystem using Java and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable microservices adhering to industry standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA to define and build the scalable platform architecture.
• Resolve operational issues independently with minimal oversight.
• Conduct active code reviews to ensure functional accuracy and maintain software quality across the team.
• Write and execute unit test cases to validate system reliability.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of software development experience with advanced Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, Cloud Data Fusion, Apigee, Cloud Pub/Sub, Alloy DB, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases, specifically Cloud SQL, Bigtable, and BigQuery.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and TestNG.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to the automotive domain or eCommerce environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot.
