Description

You apply computer science principles to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers to the management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work in a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate required time and cost.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of computer development software relating to systems, such as SQL and VisualBasic.
• Experience with Azure, Python, and Java.
• Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: analysis, requirements gathering, specification authoring, development, testing, and delivery.
• Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solving skills and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
