Description

You will perform verification and validation on flight-critical onboard software for autonomous systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Review system and software requirements to ensure compliance with performance and testing standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to plan test strategies for hardware and software compatibility.
• Write test plans, test cases, and scripts for robustness and failure injection testing.
• Execute integration and system-level testing using integrated Hardware in the Loop simulators.
• Report testing results and identify potential risk areas.

Required Skills

• B.S. degree in Aerospace, Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Simulink for Model Based Simulation Software development.
• Experience with C++.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Verification and Validation models.
• Demonstrated use of test platforms for complex HW/SW integrated systems.
• Working knowledge of UAS, autonomous vehicles, navigation, control, or airborne mission systems.
• Knowledge of ground stations, cockpit avionics, or flight control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software development and verification.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and Model-Based Design or Model-Based Test.
• Knowledge of Mathworks Simulink/Stateflow Auto-Coder Toolchain and Human Machine (HMI) interactions.
