Description

You will own the integration of security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure, including FedRAMP compliant environments using containers, VMs, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with teams to remediate vulnerabilities and assess system security risks.
• Develop security automation tools and scripts for patch management and control enforcement in deployment pipelines.
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Assist with security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in DevSecOps or DevOps engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure software development processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Expertise in containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform.
• Understanding of security principles, secure coding practices, and OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and security scanning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks.
• Background in security audits and compliance assessments.
