Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain system-level software for embedded operating systems (EOS).
• Develop and integrate features across the software stack involving network protocols and systems infrastructure.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in C/C++ and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver complete software solutions.
• Debug and resolve software issues in embedded Linux systems.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability in real-time environments.
• Work across all stages of the software development life cycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of operating systems, memory management, and system-level programming.
• Proficiency in developing software on Linux platforms.
• Hands-on experience with TCP/IP networking stack and protocol debugging.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies (e.g., 802.1X, AAA, MACsec) and Layer 3 concepts.
• Strong debugging skills, especially for embedded systems and networking protocols.
• Ability to apply software engineering principles to solve complex technical problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Layer 2 protocols such as 802.1X, AAA, MACsec.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and network systems software development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience in designing and developing networking features in EOS or similar platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in systems software development.
• Proficiency in C++/C and scripting in Python.
• Solid experience in Linux-based software development.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or related field)
