Description

You will design, develop, and maintain web applications in a distributed Java/J2EE environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web application architectures using Java, Spring, and JSF.
• Develop application logic with Hibernate, Richfaces, and Grails.
• Integrate services using REST Webservices, JMS, and EJB.
• Manage data persistence and querying with Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2008, and PLSQL.
• Support and maintain applications across WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, JSF, and Richfaces.
• Experience with Hibernate and the Grails framework.
• Hands-on work with JQuery, REST Webservices, JMS, and EJB.
• Experience deploying to WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss.
• Competency in Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2008, and PLSQL.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE and SVN.
• Ability to work on Windows and UNIX environments.

Preferred Skills

• MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
