Description

You will design, develop, test, and support web-based applications and messaging infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web-based applications using OOP principles.
• Modify existing software to resolve errors and improve functionality.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and perform feasibility studies.
• Integrate messaging infrastructures and open-source logging solutions.
• Travel to client sites to set up systems and evaluate user requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET and OOP concepts.
• Experience with PL/SQL relational databases and Oracle.
• Knowledge of XML, Web services, HTML, CSS, and Ajax.
• Experience with JavaScript and Design Patterns.
• Working knowledge of Autosys, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Experience with source code tracking and version control like Git, GitLab, or Stash.
• Hands-on experience with messaging infrastructures including Kafka, Thrift, or Proto-buf.
• Experience with logging and reporting tools such as Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Windows environments alongside Linux/Unix.
