Description

Maintain and evolve a production application built in Go while supporting the ongoing migration to C#.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain the existing production application codebase in Go.
• Develop new features and address bugs within the Golang codebase.
• Identify and bridge gaps arising from migrating core functionality from Go to C# and document the process.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure service stability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and deliver code in a CI/CD environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang) development.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with version control tools, specifically Git.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with software migration practices, including reverse engineering and feature parity validation.
