Software Engineer – Golang, Python & Distributed Systems: Onsite: Cupertino

Contract to Hire

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer with deep backend and distributed systems expertise to join a high-impact engineering team supporting large-scale platform infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building scalable services using Golang and Python, along with solid frontend exposure in React.js / Next.js ecosystems.

This role requires strong infrastructure-level understanding, experience working with modern cloud-native technologies, and the ability to build highly performant distributed systems.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Golang and/or Python
• Experience with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Infrastructure-level engineering knowledge (networking, scalability, observability, deployment pipelines, system reliability, etc.)
• Experience working with Vector Databases
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced onsite engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling backend microservices
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or retrieval systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and orchestration technologies
• Experience optimizing system performance and reliability at scale
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
