Description

Build and maintain back-end systems, cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications within the healthcare technology space.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack software components.
• Debug code and perform root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Translate healthcare integration requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with EHR platform teams to ensure technical feasibility.
• Mentor engineers through technical coaching and advice.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java full-stack experience with scalable back-end systems.
• Experience with EHR SMART on FHIR integrations, specifically Epic Systems.
• Deep knowledge of EHR systems, architecture, and APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience deploying applications and services to AWS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud configuration, networking, and security.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a healthcare technology field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cerner/Oracle or MediTech platforms.
