You will design and develop software tools while maintaining and improving development processes for applications in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software tools and implement source code changes.
• Support automation development and maintain existing software systems.
• Provide full life cycle support for applications.
• Implement reporting and planning processes and perform system optimization.

Required Skills

• Core Java and J2EE development.
• Experience with Struts, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Proficiency with WebLogic, JBoss, and WebSphere application servers.
• Experience using Apache Tomcat web server.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering or programming analysis.
• Equivalent experience: BS degree plus 5 years of programming analysis experience.
