Description

You will develop embedded software applications using Rust and support the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and deployment of Rust and associated techniques, idioms, and design patterns across product lines.
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop software for target hardware.
• Develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and operational performance requirements in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Support all software development life cycle phases, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Investigate complex issues, implement solutions, and serve as a technical mentor for junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing Rust software for production systems with deep language understanding.
• Experience with C/C++ development and object-oriented design.
• Proficiency with embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux, Integrity).
• Experience utilizing Python for embedded systems development.
• Familiarity with Embedded Systems development concepts.
• Minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience (or 10 years with a Graduate Degree).
• U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
• Experience developing software test plans and technical documentation.
