Description

Modernize the Rider Android app by adopting new unidirectional architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior and staff engineers to adopt new APIs and resolve architectural blockers.
• Ramp up on product context and codebases to implement new architectural patterns.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share technical knowledge.
• Support and unblock team members within a rapid release environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering industry experience.
• Proven track record of shipping large-scale Android applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience with unidirectional architecture and reactive programming.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with unit and snapshot testing.
• Experience creating shared components.
• Strong understanding of Android development and software engineering principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java.
