Description

You will design and develop robotic control systems for oil and gas drilling and pipe-handling applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic systems tailored for oil and gas drilling and pipe-handling operations.
• Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous drilling, pipe-handling, manipulation, and data acquisition.
• Develop software for real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation of robotic platforms.
• Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil and gas environments.
• Analyze performance data to optimize robotic systems for safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and C++.
• Proficiency in ROS, including ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, and MoveIt.
• Experience with Energid robotic control software.
• Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with industrial sensors (ultrasonic, inductive proximity, LiDAR, pressure).
• Ability to work in field conditions and travel to remote sites.
• Any Graduate degree.
