Description

Develop firmware and Linux kernel modules that interact directly with hardware, focusing on embedded systems and validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware using SPI, I2C, GPIO, Serial, PWM, and RTOS.
• Implement Linux kernel drivers and modules for PCIe interfaces.
• Perform root cause analysis and debugging using GDB to resolve hardware-software integration issues.
• Execute blackbox and regression validation processes.
• Manage memory and virtualization tasks involving SRIOV, SIOV, TLB, and paging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience working directly with hardware.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with knowledge of design patterns, Boost, and STL.
• 5+ years of Python experience, including pdb and unittest.
• 5+ years of Linux development experience (gcc, makefiles, packaging, libraries, and porting).
• Strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming.
• Experience with socket and Inter-process communication (IPC) programming.
• Solid understanding of memory management and Linux Slab/slab.
• Proficiency with git for source control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux kernel programming and PCIe drivers.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like SRIOV and SIOV.
