Description

You will design and implement data models for warehousing, analytics, and application development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements and industry standards.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and constraints in collaboration with DBAs and developers.
• Conduct data profiling and quality assessments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Enforce data governance policies, naming conventions, and metadata repositories to ensure integrity and security.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and document data flows and mappings.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a data modeler or database designer in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in data modeling or database administration (e.g., CDMP, Oracle Certified Professional).
• Experience with NoSQL databases, big data technologies, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
