Description

You will develop, test, and deploy Java-based software components across supported platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement product changes through detailed design, programming, unit testing, and deployment following the SDLC.
• Investigate and resolve software defects across Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Convert business requirements into effective software designs and component specifications.
• Design and execute unit, link, and integration test plans, including test data creation.
• Collaborate with QA teams on integration, system, and acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java software development within an industry setting.
• Proficiency with API (REST) development, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Maven and Subversion version control.
• Strong understanding of software/data design methods and data structures.
• Experience building scalable infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion and aggregation.
• Ability to work within a hybrid Agile methodology.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or private cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of MySQL, Kafka, Hadoop, JMS, ZooKeeper, Spring, JavaScript, or UI Development.
