Description

You will build and maintain the backend systems that power a chatbot conversation engine processing millions of conversations daily. You design resilient workflows for automatic issue routing and develop APIs for both internal dashboards and external integrations. You focus on performance and scalability while writing comprehensive tests to ensure code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs for internal agent dashboards and external integrations.
• Build highly scalable and resilient systems for automatic issue routing based on events.
• Develop medium to large-scale server-side software solutions with a focus on performance.
• Write unit, functional, and regression tests to maintain code reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software that meets business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in medium/large scale server-side software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Clojure.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Kafka for event streaming.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithm time complexity.
• Experience with Git and unit testing frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with functional programming and JVM internals.
• Knowledge of benchmarking systems for performance and failure detection.
• Familiarity with generative testing and POSIX compliant operating systems.
